The Eclectic Physician Newsletter February 24, 2005

Natural Care for Chapped Lips As I write this the full moon is setting and it strikes me that this is the last full moon of winter. The next full moon will be just after the spring equinox and it is time to start thinking about spring herbs. The nettles are sprouting just in time for spring allergy season [ more on nettles ] , and the dandelion leaf in our garden is greening up for a nice spring tonic. [ more on dandelion ]

2005 marks the 8th year of continuous work on The Eclectic Physician website. What started as a few web pages about herbs and naturopathic medicine in 1997 has blossomed into a major information archive with over 500 articles and monographs on alternative therapies, natural supplements and medicinal herbs. The fastest growing content area has been the Q&A Archive. The archive has answers to questions asked by visitors to the site and contains a wealth of information about alternative medicine. We have added some new features to the website and updated the look and navigation functionality. The enhanced search function on the site is an excellent way to find information using a keyword search.

Mountain Rose Herbs. A Herbs, Health & Harmony Company Since 1987 Our other exciting news is we have joined in affiliation with
Mountain Rose Herbs from Eugene, Oregon. Mountain Rose is a major supplier of organic bulk herbs, herbal products and ingredients. They also act as a distributor for many high quality herbal supplements. We have been purchasing certified organic carrier oils, essential oils and flower absolutes from them for our line of Ayurvedic Aromatherapy and Herbal Formulations, massage oils and lip balm that we are producing under our new label at Maharajji's Garden. We have added links to Mountain Rose' website. This lets you go straight from the information pages on The Eclectic Physician to the shopping cart on Mountain Rose making it easy to find the high quality herbs and supplements you need. If you follow a link from this newsletter or from our website we get a small commission. We have always offered the information on The Eclectic Physician website free of charge, but we are hoping this will provide a small revenue to help support the web site while at the same time help our visitors find products that they can have a high level of confidence in. Wishing you the best of health,
